LM was formed in 1972 with a strong focus on client relationships and supporting their communities. From our humble beginnings, with every client success, our business grew and now we have offices in Adelaide, Streaky Bay, Alice Springs, Ceduna, and Port Lincoln. As well as having a strong presence in Darwin and servicing clients across Australia.
With more than 50 years in operation, we have empowered thousands of clients to start and grow their businesses and wealth in a sustainable, accountable, and fair manner.
History of LM
‘Letcher Moroney’
Chartered Accountants & Business Advisors
The firm’s history dates back over 50 years, established by founding partner Alan Letcher. The firm’s growth trajectory saw significant milestones with the addition of partners Shaun and Dion Moroney in 1999 and 2001, respectively.
The official renaming of the firm to Letcher Moroney in 2005 marked a new beginning for a long-standing organisation. Alan Letcher remained an integral part of the firm until his retirement in 2013.
Our journey has been marked by continuous development and success, and we take great pride in the strong relationships built along the way. Maintaining this legacy of excellence and upholding the highest standards of professionalism and care for our clients remains a core priority.
Today, the firm is known as LM. We are a skilled team of chartered Accountants & business advisors bringing growth and stability to our wide range of clients across Australia.

What We Do
LM specialises in providing Taxation and Business Advisory services for small to medium business and corporate entities, including Self Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSF) and planning and administration for Estates.
We also offer our clients access to Financial Planning, investment, superannuation and personal risk insurance advice through LM Financial Services. This is a joint venture with licenced financial planner Mark Yeomans.
Additionally our LM People Solutions Consultant can provide clients advice and services in regard to all areas of employee management, including industrial relations, and WHS compliance.
We have developed close relationships with highly qualified experts in the areas of complex taxation matters, commercial law, succession planning, finance, and conveyancing to provide a comprehensive service offering to our clients.
LM believe in supporting the community and local charities. We have strong relationships with the Hutt Street Centre who support the Homeless, The Leukemia Foundation, Childhood Cancer Association, Calvary Hospice, Make a Wish Foundation, Jodi Lee Foundation, Salvation Army and Youth Opportunities.
